TroGo's Event Mini Series: “The Vintage Markets”

TroGo

Have you ever visited us at one of the vintage markets that we attend? If not, you may be wondering what a vintage market even is. A trend that began years ago, vintage markets are like farmers markets for antiques, vintage goods, boutique clothing, home goods, and even culinary staples. Imagine an upscale flea market with thoughtful details and a curation of talented artisans, crafters, and small business owners all in one place to create a specialized shopping experience for shoppers.

There are three main vintage markets on our calendar for this year where you can find us serving up hundreds of drinks and pretzels. Be sure to check our events page or visit the underlined vintage market links below to learn about dates, tickets, and more!

First on our schedule is The City Mercantile Vintage Market at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Ohio. This newer market has a unique curation of vendors that you may not have encountered before at other vintage markets, and is open during three days twice a year. We set up for The City Mercantile’s Christmas market last year, and are excited to see what the spring market brings! Find unique home decor, handmade soaps, boutique clothing, and more at this market. Also, check out The City Mercantile’s website for beautiful themed market t-shirts (below):

Next we have Dayton Vintage Market Days at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Xenia, Ohio. Four giant barns full of vintage and boutique goods are open for three days, featuring home decor, furniture, clothing, and more! About 85% of shopping can be done under a roof, so if April showers decide to come for the spring market or snow during the Christmas market, you can browse in sheltered comfort. A favorite part of this market for us is the soap samples in the restroom that a vendor at VMD has provided historically for people to try as they wash their hands. It’s a smart and fun little touch to smell the different scents! This event keeps us busy as we fuel shopper’s experiences, and we are thankful for the years of support we've received at this event!

Thirdly, we have Charm at the Farm Vintage Market located outside Lebanon, Ohio which occurs three times a year. This beautiful outdoor market is a powerhouse of small businesses and shoppers that is open over a span of three days. Find vintage decor, hand poured candles, boutique clothing, and more! One of our favorite parts of this market is the beautiful photo wall balloon arch that is created for each market. It truly has become a Charm icon! We have attended this event many times and the support we are given leaves us amazed at “Charmer’s” generosity.

All three of the main vintage markets we attend have their own personality, feel, and experience. We see familiar faces at all the markets, as vendor and customer friends stop by to visit us. Some of TroGo’s team members like to shop too, and being a part of these creative markets is fun as well as profitable. Pick a vintage market that appeals to you and come see us this year!
